INFORMATION ON PERSONAL DATA PROCESSING
The Medical University of Lublin, located at Aleje Racławickie 1, 20-059 Lublin, is the data controller.
The data controller appointed a person who controls the processing of personal data, i.e. Data Protection Officer who can be contacted via e-mail at or via regular mail at the data controller’s address.
The data controller processes personal data for the following purposes:
based on art. 6 par. 1 a) of GDPR i.e. based on the given consent:
based on art. 6 par. 1 c) of GDPR i.e. for the purpose of compliance with the data controller’s legal obligation :
- for the archival and statistical purposes for the period allowed by the provisions of law,
- or the purpose and for the period of time necessary for enforcement or defense of claims.
Processed personal data will not be sold or shared with third parties, with the exception of the entities authorized by legal provisions such as courts, prosecutorial branches, Data Protection Office, etc., including ones with relevant service agreements with the data controller, specifically providers of IT outsourcing services, legal services, etc. Personal data will not be processed for any other purposes than those for which it has been collected.
Every person whose data is processed, in cases provided by the provisions of law, has the right to:
o Access the data,
o Demand rectification of the data,
o Demand erasure of the data,
o Demand restriction of the data processing,
o Object the data processing,
o Transfer of the data,
o Lodge a complaint with a supervising authority.
Every person whose data is processed based on the given consent has the right to withdraw their consent at any time, which, however, will not affect the legitimacy of data processing occurring beforehand.
The data will not be processed by automated means, will not be used for profiling or transferred out of the European Economic Area (comprising of European Union, Norway, Liechtenstein and Iceland).
